Use & Care
Plant lotus rhizomes in a large, shallow aquatic container or pond planting basket using heavy loam soil. Place the container in full sun and keep the water level shallow over the crown when planting. As the lotus establishes and grows, gradually increase the water depth. Give the plant plenty of room to spread, and protect young growth from strong wind and pond pests.
